If you want the fastest single-GPU available, you'll have to pay for it and that's always going to be the case. At the end of the day, we really like the GTX 780 Ti OC and GTX 780 GHz Edition -- especially the latter -- but the reality is that AMD's R9 290 offers similarly rock solid results for $300 less...

However, if money is no object, this is the best single-GPU gaming card out there. And when the price falls so that the difference between this and the 290X drops to two figures, the 780 Ti will almost undoubtedly become the top high-performance deal on the market.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti is a well-balanced, all-rounder of a graphics card that delivers super high performance while keeping its noise in check. It beats the AMD Radeon R9 290X by a whisker on pure performance, all the while staying quieter and...

The NVIDIA GTX 780Ti, is by far, the fastest graphics card we have tested. Unfortunately, we could not get our hands on the R9 290X in time to compare it with the GTX 780Ti, as both cards were launched around the same time and positioned as their...

Nvidia’s latest supercard takes the single-chip performance crown back from AMD after mere days, while running much cooler and quieter. That said, its performance edge isn’t huge, given it was $150 more than AMD’s R9 290X when we wrote this....

With that in mind and saliently ignoring the £600 price tag likely to be attached to it, we can genuinely recommend it to the deep-pocketed enthusiast who likes to game at a lush 2,560x1,440 resolution present on the latest 27in monitors.

These include important rate blobs while you’re gaming with high answers, which can be wherever you would like to be while you’re investing £560 / $700 with a graphics minute card. In case you’re plugging this kind of right into a 1080p display simply subsequently you’re a new insane person.

Overall the product is just VERY impressive and has great looks. As such we reward the Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti Windforce 3X OC edition with our top pick award, well deserved. What a great combination and silence, performance and looks. Well done Gigabyte...

The GTX 780 Ti is clearly a premium product, which its pricing reflects. If you need to save money and can take the noise, the AMD's Radeon 290 Series could be an alternative. While I haven't reviewed any other custom GTX 780 Ti cards yet, the EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC with ACX cooler definitely sets the bar high for the competition.
